The Storm is described as a 'one-of-a-kind VR gaming experience'
Triotech, a Canada-based developer of media-based attractions based, has announced that it's new attraction, The Storm, has already sold more than 200 units.
"The Storm field tests show strong earning numbers, driving an expanding demand on this new VR interactive simulator," said Triotech founder and CEO Ernest Yale.
"We began to get commitments from clients for The Storm directly on the show floor at the IAAPA Expo 2019.
"When we develop an attraction, we focus on guest experience as well as ROI for the operator. The Storm combines both and we're thrilled with its success so far," Yale added.
The Storm is a new interactive VR coin-op simulator ride, targeting the FEC and LBE markets. A two-seater unit, features motion seats and special effects, such as wind, as well as hand-gesture interactivity technology that enables players to interact with the game by moving their hands. It is billed as a 'one-of-a-kind VR gaming experience'.
