This year's Leisure Industry Week event saw the UK launch of the new Octane Pro 4700 from Octane Fitness.
The machine has an electronically adjustable stride length from 18in-26in (46cm-66cm), allowing users to quickly change between walking, jogging or running stride lengths on their x-trainers.
Octane's patented SmartStride interactive ergonomics monitor pace and direction and automatically adjust stride length accordingly, so if the user speeds up, the stride becomes longer.
The Pro 4700 has all the popular features of the current Octane Pro 3700, such as X-Mode for variety and Arm Blaster for challenge.
The Octane Pro 4700 also works with the new Cross Circuit feature, which similarly launched at LIW 2011.
