LTP keeping fit with Robert Davies gym

Supplier: Lighting Technology Projects Ltd

More Lighting Technology Projects Ltd details
Lighting Technology Projects (LTP) has supplied Llanelli's newest gym, the Robert Davies Health and Fitness Centre, with a solution-led lighting scheme.

Having undergone a complete refurbishment, the west Wales venue required an innovative interior lighting scheme to enhance its extensive facilities.

Offering a two-floor gymnasium, sauna, steam and salt inhalation rooms, boxercise, a spinning room and two studios, along with physiotherapy areas and a coffee shop and lounge, LTP was able to design and specify effects lighting tailored to each different environment.

The key areas, including the central atrium ceiling, benefit from beautification provided by colour changing LED lighting.

A visually vibrant centrepiece has also been created in this space using multiple light sticks.

Some of the spaces feature UV graffiti art, so red plexineon and UV tubes were specified and installed to accentuate the works.

LTP's operations manager Keith Elms said: "We were delighted to be involved with this project and deliver a lighting concept to match the modern and contemporary aesthetic of the fitness centre, equipping each environment with eye-catching and appropriate lighting."
