Floataway, the flotation tanks manufacturer, will be launching two new products at Grand Designs 2006 in June.
The all fiberglass Skylark - £7,749.00 including VAT and installation in the UK - is the first float tank to be specifically designed for home use, built using components which make for easy installation in normal houses. No plumbing is needed and it has large doors which allow entry from either the front or the side.
The second new launch is the company's Float Inns. In the domestic environment this will be a portable wooden garden room fitted with a single flotation tank - probably either a Skylark or Floataway's Tranquility model - plus all the equipment needed for easy home floatation therapy.
In the commercial world, a Float Inn will be a larger wooden building, fully equipped with up to four floatation tanks and changing facilities and offering total privacy to all users.
This is designed to create a stylish, portable Floatation Therapy Centre ideal for use by golf clubs, hotels and sports and fitness centres which don't have the internal space for such a facility but have grounds or gardens where it can be sited.
Float Inns are sold complete with all delivery, installation and commissioning for both domestic and commercial customers.
Grand Designs 2006 is being held at Exel in London on 2-4 June; Floataway is on stand number L86.
