IHRSA saw the launch by Sunlight Saunas of the Sunburst standalone far infrared heater.
Reported to be the first of its kind, the new heater caters for more health conscious sauna goers who are looking to either upgrade their traditional rock heaters, create a custom far infrared sauna or need a larger unit than is available from other suppliers.
There are three options available, the Sunburst 3, featuring a heater output of 2.4-3.0KW and with seating for 1-4 people; the Sunburst 5, 3.8-4.6KW and 5-7 people; and the Sunburst 8, 6.6-8.2KW and 8-16 people.
All three are constructed from basswood and range in size from the smaller 3 at 24.7in wide, 15in deep and 36.3in in height, through to the 8 at 26.3in x 25in x 37.4in respectively.
The Sunburst 3 will operate from a wall outlet, whilst the Sunburst 5 and 8 require hard wiring into a mains electricity supply.
Sunlight Saunas is partnered in the UK by Surrey-based Nordic Saunas.
