Furnitubes International launched its new Lambeth range of co-ordinated street furniture at EWx 2007 (External Works) recently.
Comprising a seat, bollard and cycle stand, the Lambeth collection is cast in tough S.G. (ductile) iron for durability, other considerations in the design process being sustainability, visual consistency, accessibility and vandal resistance.
The seat is available with 100 per cent recycled plastic slats or FSC hardwood timber slats. The standard design is DDA compliant with two central arm rests and complies with TfL's streetscape guidance.
The cycle stand is available with an Abcite® plastic coating finish, plus symbols and logos on the tapper plate.
Also new from the company are the Zenith seat and the ZEN500 litter bin, both constructed from corrosion resistant, satin polished stainless steel.
The 130ltr capacity bin comes with an integrated cigarette stubber with separate liner to catch ash and is supplied with a rodent bait base.
The seat is available with a DDA compliant configuration with two central arm rests.
