The Elevate exhibition will give fitness industry professionals chance to share knowledge
Taking place at Olympia London 4 and 5 May 2016, Elevate will be an important opportunity for professionals to learn more about exercise, health and performance.
As well as 150 industry operators and suppliers exhibiting, one of the focal points during the two-day event will be the seminar programme, featuring over 100 speakers across academia, industry, healthcare and performance.
Organisations including Public Health England, Mind, Fitness First and Nuffield Health among others will be represented.
Max Quittenton, founder and director of Elevate, said: “The chief aim of this event is to bring otherwise disparate groups together under one roof, to stimulate progress in overturning inactivity.”
Exhibitors will share knowledge, expertise and product innovations which supports strategies to increase participation, physical activity for health and well-being, and the future of human performance.
Visitors are invited to experience the exhibits and seminars - for free - where the latest developments and research will be presented.
Ali Oliver, chief executive of Youth Sport Trust, who will be speaking at the event, said: “Elevate will be the UK’s first cross-sector event to focus on tackling inactivity. The event creates an ideal platform to share ideas, explore opportunities and generate debate.”

Elevate is the UK’s largest physical activity trade event. Held annually Elevate brings the physical activity sector together with those working in performance and health to tackle one of the most important challenges of our time: tackling physical inactivity.
“The importance of the event, Elevate, is to bring together the fitness industry, the technology industry, the healthcare sector and the really important people - who are the practitioners who promote physical activity - and give them a sound bed of evidence to take away and use in their everyday lives. New equipment, new ideas, new energy.” Prof. Charlie Foster, World Health Organisation and Oxford University.
