Beamrider and Fleet (Line Markers) have introduced the world's first laser-guided line marker for sports pitches.
The system, based on Fleet's successful Kombi line marker, combines laser technology with digital recognition software to produce perfectly straight lines and right angles without the need for 3, 4, 5 triangles or string lines.
Operation involves setting up the laser system, turning the paint spray on and off and pushing the line marker in a general forward direction.
The line is created by a tracking arm on the Kombi which follows the beam produced by the laser, a system said to make it almost impossible to end up with wobbles and kinks.
