Fleet (Line Markers) is now offering two versions of the BeamRider Laser Guided Marking System.
In addition to the original BeamRider SX, the company can now supply the newly introduced contractor version, the BeamRider CX.
The SX features two laser units, one projecting a perfect 90˚ angle and the other a single beam.
The CX comes with the 90˚ laser unit only but the system still enables an operator to achieve perfectly formed right angles in a matter of seconds.
Fleet says that a full sized football pitch can be measured and marked in under an hour and reports that an 8-lane 400m track with a 100m straight has been measured and marked in less than two hours.
In addition to being suitable for grass marking, the BeamRider - as well as Fleet’s Kombi machine - can be used for marking on synthetic and tarmac surfaces.
New for 2008 is Fleet’s Synthetic Turf Coating (STC). This has been on trial on sand-filled, sand-dressed, rubber crumb and water-based synthetics and has proven to last in excess of six months before needing to be re-marked.
