Whitewater's new Boomerango water ride has made its debut at the Chimelong Water Park in southern China.
The slide involves riders on an inner tube starting with a steep drop downwards before being propelled high up a vertical wall.
A reversed free fall then accelerates riders over a six foot high transition bump and into a splashdown pool.
Single, double and family - up to five - inner tubes are available and entry options include a launch conveyor or tower.
Boomerango is suitable for installation either indoors or outdoors and a fully enclosed version is said to create a thrilling dark attraction.
A typical height for the family version is 45ft, with a per hour capacity of between 600-800 and a speed of 19-23ft sec/5.7-7m sec.
A range of more than 40 colour options is available.
At more than 30 acres in size, Chimelong is reportedly the largest waterpark in Asia and already features the Giant RainFortress, one of the largest aqua play structures in the world; the Master Blaster water-based coaster; and the Whizzard high speed slide.
