Linen supplier Richard Haworth has created EasyValance, a unique 'open top' valance designed to save hotels and B&B's both time and money.
Set to revolutionise guestroom changes, the EasyValance, which is available with either elastic or Velcro fasteners, ensures a reduction in the time it takes to change bedding.
The elastic EasyValance wraps around the bed base without the need for a central piece of fabric, while the Velcro version simply fastens on to a section of material that is placed on top of the divan.
Both can be changed in seconds and means chambermaids no longer need to pair-up to take off the mattress, topper and pillows to change the valance.
Available in 33 different shades, hoteliers can select a Richard Haworth valance to complement the rest of their colour scheme.
Block colours are popular with interior designers this year, so the new product is an effective way of incorporating that trend.
