HydroPeptide has launched a new Perfecting Gloss, a lip-enhancing treatment designed for those concerned with enhancing lip volume and reducing the appearance of fine lines on the lips.
The company says it will restore lip fullness, volume and definition within minutes, while enhancing long-lasting suppleness and hydration.
“Perfecting Gloss is so much more than just a lip plumper,” said April Zangl, CEO and co-formulator of HydroPeptide. “Women often complain of an upper lip that disappears when they smile, and the ingredient technology in Perfecting Gloss solves that problem by delivering on the promise of instant plumping and a long-term improvement in lip volume.”
A high molecular weight hyaluronic acid acts as a topical dermal filler, and a warming peptide derived from chili peppers increases circulation to the lips for immediate fullness, the company said. The formula also includes myristoyl tripeptide-31, an anti-wrinkle and anti-inflammatory peptide designed to help rebuild collagen.
Perfecting Gloss is also designed to multi-task as a nighttime lip repair treatment, said Zangl. “Apply Perfecting Gloss before bed, when you apply your anti-wrinkle creams, to wake up to fuller, sexier lips in the morning,” she said.
Now available in Santorini, a sheer, gold-flecked red, and Sunkissed, a nude designed to flatter all skin tones.
